NHS MenB Vaccination Campaign
Temporary NHS Vaccination Programme (20 July 2026 – 31 March 2027)
MEDSCLINIC Pharmacy is providing the NHS MenB (Meningococcal Group B) Vaccination Service as part of a time-limited national NHS campaign to help protect eligible young people from meningococcal group B disease before entering higher education or residential further education.
Please note: This is not the routine NHS childhood MenB vaccination programme.
Who Should Use This Booking Page?
This booking page is ONLY for patients who could not book through the NHS National Booking System because they were not born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008, but believe they meet one of the following NHS eligibility groups:
Group 2 – First-Time University Students
You may be eligible if you:
- Were born on or after 21 July 2001, and
- Are starting an undergraduate university course for the first time in Autumn 2026.
Group 3 – Residential Further Education Students
You may be eligible if you:
- Were born on or after 21 July 2001, and
- Are moving into residential further education accommodation for the first time in Autumn 2026.
Our healthcare team will confirm your eligibility before vaccination. You may be asked to provide evidence of your university or residential further education place.
Year 13 Students
If you were born between 1 September 2007 and 31 August 2008 (Year 13 students), please do not use this booking page.

Why Get Vaccinated?
Meningococcal Group B disease is a rare but serious bacterial infection that can cause meningitis and septicaemia (blood poisoning). Students living in shared accommodation are at increased risk because of close social contact. Vaccination offers the best protection before starting university or residential education.
Before You Book
Please only make an appointment if you believe you meet the NHS eligibility criteria above.
Bring the following to your appointment:
- Proof of identity.
- Evidence of your university or residential further education offer (if requested).
